After posting on my account again I was scrolling After posting on my account again I was scrolling through it and realised I quite liked seeing my running process when I used to share it. I don't suppose it's super interesting to anybody else but I've been having fun tracking these sorts of things. This year I made a "New Year's resolution", fully expecting to give up on it like I give up on 90% of long term projects I start. But two of them have really stuck: I'm doing yoga every day and I try to go for 2 runs a week. I wanted to do at least one 10 km run each month. So far it's been going great!! Even without any official races to train for, I have succeeded at this goal week after week and think it's safe to call it a "habit" now. I even upped my distance to 15 km over the summer and feel ready to take on a half marathon again soon! So I figured it would be fun to get back to sharing via photos. This Sunday I ran in Rotterdam, all the way to the Erasmusbrug where I was tipped to check out the photo expo on Queer Resilience. It was powerful and touching to see and read the stories of queer people all over the world. We still have much work to do. I definitely recommend checking it out. ❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜
On this world animal day I am (finally) introducin On this world animal day I am (finally) introducing Karma, our fur baby we adopted last year. Earlier this year, he got really sick with FIP. It's a mutation of a coronavirus. Basically, a lot of cats can get the virus and be fine, and then some of them get FIP. It was a scary few months and expensive treatment, because there isn't a common treatment in Belgium yet. Without treatment, it's almost guaranteed to be fatal for cats. But I want to give some hope to other cats and parents! Karma is now off his treatment since three months and being his healthy, playful, energetic self! 🐱💜✨️ Love you, weirdo. Stay with us plenty more years please.

I think in the past year I've tried to wear a little bit more Lolita Fashion again but it was sooooo nice to go back to the UK and see so many friends and even make new friends! I've actually been struggling with posting for a while because DAMN the modern internet is too much for me. I don't know where to upload things so they don't get stolen by AI, I don't like this app honestly but it's where my friends are, and where a lot of the fashion/craft/etc inspiration and community lives. That's the part of the internet I like and want to be a part of, but I am a perfectionist so every attempt fails. I would love to update my blog but I create more than I edit so I end up with a backlog and then I get overwhelmed and then I just give up. I don't know how other people do it but it will just never be me, hahahahaha. The focus point is to have an alcohol free safe(r) space, let everyone be their wonderful self while we care for each other through mutual understanding and respect. We organise fun activities such as walks, picnics and boardgames... please come check us out if you're in the neighbourhood! Starting up an organisation costs time, this is approximately two years in the making. It costs energy and motivation, which we have lots of, because we believe our cause is a good cause. I've added a border and weaved in a few ends, but it feels so minimal since there are just SO MANY OF THEM 😅 This reel audio feels so true though, I'm always thinking of new projects and excited to start things. Finishing things is much harder. (BUT! I did finish a few things. 🌈 it's Granny Square Day! 🌈 and I didn't re 🌈 it's Granny Square Day! 🌈 and I didn't realise and didn't make any new squares but here's a few that I have just sitting around, the two solid ones I accidentally made too many for the blanket that's still not finished, and the other ones were just fun samples of granny square techniques. Granny squares used to look too "grandma" and outdated for me (what's in a name) but then I discovered how much fun they are to make!! and I completely came back on my opinion and now I totally understand the hype. There are SO many cool designs, I suggest you check out the hashtag. I also predict many more granny square projects in my future. I am glad I figured out a way to hide/minimise ends though, because doing a granny square blanket taught me that I absolutely need to take care of ends before they get overwhelming, and many designs have colour changes. Now that I know techniques I'd like to do a rainbow blanket, of course! Bahhhh I wanted to finish all the #YarnLove2022 pr Bahhhh I wanted to finish all the #YarnLove2022 prompts at least before August would arrive, just because I figured taking two months for a one month challenge was "acceptable" enough 😅😂 for a procrastinator and bad-at-posting-person like me but it's clearly not happening. In my defense I went on a holiday and then it was 40 degrees aaand I just go through phases where I'm too overwhelmed to post. OOPS. Day 18: Proudest make 🐸 🌈 This is mostly just my latest make but it's a wearable for a person other than myself so I'm proud of it! I had never made a beret before and kinda just winged it (like so often, lol) and LO AND BEHOLD it came out kinda looking how I envisioned it AND the person who I custom made it for liked it so 💚 win win 💚 I've crocheted gifts for people before but never a wearable so it was kinda scary, I'm sooo glad it all worked out.
