vief ♡ fun saturdays

April 6th [helloooo time machine hahaha] was a beautiful day: the sun was out, it was Easter break. First I went for breakfast at Peach & Pear and then after that I went with a couple of Lolita friends to see Mary Poppins. YAY!

It was my first time finally being on the inside of the Hyde Park Picture House, a beautiful building I have passed many, many, many times. It was a lot of fun because obviously Mary Poppins is a fun movie ^_^ So I was very happy that Jo, Basil and Michaela invited me along. We had a very good time laughing at the derpy faces and singing the songs. （＾Ｏ＾☆♪

The inside of the cinema is really cute, all vintage decor and comfy red seats… but this system camera I was using really didn’t like to take nice pictures inside, so that’ll be for another day. [I haven’t been back since but I’m sure I shall have to go when the occasion allows, because the prices are super affordable compared to the bigger commercial cinemas.]

After the movie it was still sunny and we were kinda peckish, so we checked out this food festival that was happening right around the corner. It was super cute with lots of little stalls, including an adorable painted Volkswagen [selling cakes, but no vegan options unfortunately :( it all looked so nice] and another van [selling ice cream] and there was also a man with an owl. We spent a bit of time queueing for the ice cream after we found out she had a vegan flavour available. Meanwhile the girls were entertained by the owl while eating their cakes.

The van was adooooraaaableeeee on the inside! How cute are those posters, the little dolls, and check the names of the ice cream! Everything was just awesome, and home made. And I was super happy to be eating ice cream, haha! ｡◕‿◕｡

And finally spring was sort of arriving in Leeds! Yaaayyy little flowers! (◕‿◕✿) It was so nice to walk around in the sun and take in the views while spending time with nice people. I had a lovely saturday afternoon!

I’m not wearing Lolita… more like, casual Fairy Kei ish stuff? Hahaha. The Cinderella T-shirt was a gift from my Twin-twin and I loooove it. It’s so perfect! I also love love love love Milky Planet and I love love love wearing that skirt! I was so happy to be wearing pastel colours in the spring sun. You can see my mint coloured scarf stuffed into the little tote bag, hahaha. ♪(´ε｀ )
