instagram ♡ december 2013
I thought it would be fun to share my instagram pictures in one place. I know it’s a bit image heavy because I took a trip to the Netherlands and Belgium and was really happy to be using instagram again, haha, so maybe that’s a sign I should do these posts a bit more often and a bit more staggered ^_^
vief ♡ clothes and food and stuff
Whoooooops, I realise my last post was two months ago! (◎ー◎;) I have been SO BUSY! Well, at least I have the “it was summer”-excuse. And I think it’s a valid excuse because my summer was really good! My summer was so adventurous and filled with fun people and fun memories [and many fun photos that I really want to share!!] that I am really sad it is over! But on the other hand I am also reaaaaally excited about the academic year starting again. I am starting my third [and final] year at the University of Leeds. I’m taking lots of interesting modules and also have to write a dissertation.…
☆ Lolita in the woods ☆
Once upon a time on a day in April when it was sunny enough, I ventured into the ‘woods’ along what is known as the Ridge. It’s not really a forest but it’s a nice area with trees. It’s pleasant for walks and contemplation, and it serves as a shortcut from Woodhouse (my area) to Headingley (another student area).
vief ♡ fun saturdays
April 6th [helloooo time machine hahaha] was a beautiful day: the sun was out, it was Easter break. First I went for breakfast at Peach & Pear and then after that I went with a couple of Lolita friends to see Mary Poppins. YAY!
lolitas of Leeds ☘ march meet up
On March 17th, which was ☘ St. Patrick’s Day ☘, I organised a meet up for the lovely lolitas of Leeds which centred around the colour GREEEEN~!!
Lolitas of Leeds ♡ J-Pop GO!
I say lolitas of Leeds… but my other friends were there too! On Saturday March 16th, there was a special J-Pop and K-Pop night in one of the clubs of Leeds University Union, called Mine, and this event was called J-Pop GO! and is apparently organised in different places at different times [website]. When it finally came to Leeds, this promised to be a fun event because all the lolitas agreed to dress up and of course the music would be to our taste [not like at other club events where it’s just Top 40 blabla].
SocieTEA ♡ TEAley Run!
SocieTEA visits LS6 [Photo by Fuko] On the last Friday of term, SocieTEA did a Tealey Run. We got the name because the Otley Run is a popular pubcrawl in the Leeds area, but we’ve modified it to be much, much better. This was our second time organising such an event and it was great! We were with quite a diverse group and we visited four places all across Leeds where we enjoyed different types of tea and food. We started at LS6, which has a lovely choice of loose teas in pots which is always a good start.
vief ♡ food, mocktails and a few new things
Halloooooo, I know it’s been awful quiet over here, I’m sorry, I’ve just been enjoying my Easter break. I’m catching up though, and have a lot to share, so here’s a bit of a random post with tidbits of some things I did, ate and bought about a month ago. PEACH & PEAR Sometimes, I like to go out for vegan food. Because who doesn’t like to go out for food?! Too bad finding good vegan food is kind of tricky. However, there are a few places in Leeds where you know for sure that the food is vegan friendly and very very good, so I come there again and…
Davey Havok Day ♡ 2013
Thursday the 14th of February was a special day. I already posted about it the week before, but in case it slipped by: it was time for the annual DAVEY HAVOK DAY~! I started my day travelling back up North after spending 24 hours in London for the Kyary concert… And was happy to see a rainbow on the way! During the 4,5 hour trip, I drank a pink[ish] drink, and listened to ALL THE AFI on my iphone, which coincidentally spanned the whole bus trip! The track I was listening to when I took this picture is a b-side and it’s one of my favourite ones. When I arrived…
Kyary Pamyu Pamyu ● きゃりーぱみゅぱみゅ ♡ 100% KPP Tour ♫ London
Two weeks ago, I went down to London to see Kyary Pamyu Pamyu or きゃりーぱみゅぱみゅ for her 100% KPP Tour. So on Wednesday morning, I spent 4,5 hours on the bus. Because I decided to handmake some new things to wear… and I don’t have a sewing machine currently, I had to finish some trimmings on the bus :D When I arrived in London, I first strolled around a little bit, visited shops, like the Disney store… haha. I didn’t buy anything, surprisingly! The funny thing is that the first thing I did was run into a little café because I really needed to use a toilet [the buses here don’t…
